Torsten Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Leonel Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Enström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Tamminga. FC Blåvitt's Torsten Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Sanches in the 25th minute of play. Andy Robertsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Staffan Sundéns short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Diamantino Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Staffan Sundén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Senna came out of the goal and Staffan Sundén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Rocha to maneuver through the defense. The FC Blåvitt fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when FC Blåvitt's Staffan Sundén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd match minute, FC Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Smitt to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Blåvitt booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Senna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sune Byström.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Staffan Sundén to strike the kick off in the second half. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Tamminga in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Futbol Club RRFV's Torsten Enström threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Luís Martins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When André Luís Martins came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Futbol Club RRFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Martins couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. FC Blåvitt's Herman Kihlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes of play, FC Blåvitt's Herbert Tamminga made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Sundén in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Sundén in the 77th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Tamminga in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of FC Blåvitt booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Sundén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Brito's late challenge caught a FC Blåvitt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Brito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's César Brito got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Sune Byström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diamantino Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Sundén, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
