American Airlines's Dale Skinner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Bejrut in the 14th minute of play. Husaria Tarnów's Aleksander Penczkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of American Airlines booed when Husaria Tarnów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukasz Bejrut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trinidad Khan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale Skinner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Czaplicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 29 minutes, Jonah Ryan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Husaria Tarnów's Wincent Zbydniowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonah Ryan got free with Wincent Zbydniowski in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute of the match American Airlines got a corner. Husaria Tarnów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joseph Mahoney ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on American Airlines's corner Joseph Mahoney fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wincent Zbydniowski quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Lukasz Bejrut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dale Skinner was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Wincent Zbydniowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Husaria Tarnów made a substitution. Hieronim Dankowski replaced Lech Walaszkiewicz. The Husaria Tarnów fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. American Airlines were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
