Geovanni Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Cresconio in the 8th minute of the match. Fidel Dimas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Pedro Cresconio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Delfines and the Macaco F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Cresconio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Felipe Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvério de Mendonça got free with Quique Iglesias in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Cresconio in the 16th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Macaco F.C. defense, Serafino Firman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Pinho. The Macaco F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Pinho should have stopped the shot. Fidel Dimas took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Pinho. Geovanni Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Armando Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macaco F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Delfines the free kick. Armando Sampaio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Dimas came free, but Geovanni Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Los Delfines fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Los Delfines's Pedro Cresconio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Veronica in the 32nd minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Fidel Dimas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Delfines's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Dimas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Fidel Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Serafino Firman came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Los Delfines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Firman couldn't finish the play. If Fidel Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Macaco F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Delfines were winning 0-4.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Dimas to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão Leme during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geovanni Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Cresconio in the 56th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Pedro Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Benjamim Trancoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benjamim Trancoso hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Froilan Kimetz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Macaco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Los Delfines's Pedro Cresconio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When Cristóvão Leme was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Cristóvão Leme hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Geovanni Pinho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Froilan Kimetz.
