The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Yuwana during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ROYALFOX FC's Adrian Yuwana got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Bassam El Makhtoub made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Odod Munggaran sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Líbano's Bassam El Makhtoub got control of the ball when Odod Munggaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Abdul Halim Aban notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ROYALFOX FC's Wahab Guritno. Wahab Guritno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Líbano's Jalal Rajab pulled a muscle in his back after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Freddy Suharyadi's late challenge caught a Líbano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Suharyadi helped the player get up and apologised. Líbano's Salah El Aska was substituted for Jalal Rajab. Freddy Suharyadi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Naser Awat scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wahab Guritno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wahab Guritno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wassim Suoud in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROYALFOX FC's goalkeeper Wahab Guritno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Líbano! Syauqi Yarangga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wahab Guritno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naser Awat, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Wajid Abdul Baqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Líbano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Abdul Jabbar Yazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Wahab Guritno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Líbano were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honestra Haridinata made a kick off. Naser Awat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wahab Guritno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Freddy Suharyadi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bassam El Makhtoub was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 62 minutes into the match, Líbano's goal looked a bit too open when Honestra Haridinata came free, but Bassam El Makhtoub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wahab Guritno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdul Halim Aban's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Líbano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdul Halim Aban to maneuver through the defense. Líbano's Bassam El Makhtoub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honestra Haridinata in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of ROYALFOX FC booed when Líbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdul Jabbar Yazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdul Halim Aban might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wahab Guritno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdul Halim Aban ran back to his position shaking his head. If Wassim Suoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Wahab Guritno managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Líbano's Abdul Halim Aban fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Líbano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
