The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Cai Redeño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's goalkeeper 董彬枫, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Kowalesko hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in CRUZ DEL SUR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Hernan Moxi took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Mac Intyre. Godofredo Mac Intyre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Godofredo Mac Intyre came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Hernan Moxi. But to his dismay, Hernan Moxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Cortez Moyano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Redeño in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Hernan Moxi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of CRUZ DEL SUR's Godofredo Mac Intyre. Godofredo Mac Intyre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rómeó Végvári in the 40th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Godofredo Mac Intyre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Mac Intyre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Moxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rómeó Végvári made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Cai Redeño tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Godofredo Mac Intyre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 58th minute of the match Podador Arraño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 董彬枫 skillfully saved the ball. BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Rene Busvidad couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CRUZ DEL SUR. After a rather tough play, BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Cai Redeño got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Aaron Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 董彬枫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Moxi in the 67th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Godofredo Mac Intyre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Juan Manuel Vlahovic hit a great ball. When BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Cai Redeño in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie prevented a goal. Rómeó Végvári struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Godofredo Mac Intyre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM. Godofredo Mac Intyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Redeño in the 82nd minute of play. BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Cortez Moyano got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cai Redeño did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Godofredo Mac Intyre 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Cortez Moyano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godofredo Mac Intyre. CRUZ DEL SUR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cortez Moyano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 董彬枫 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Zamorano in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CRUZ DEL SUR.
