The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. KFC Paal-Tervant's Reinaud De Schutter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Paal-Tervant from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Eklund in the 10th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Reinaud De Schutter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Team Xtra personell's Reinaud De Schutter threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Eklund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when Team Xtra personell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Team Xtra personell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Paal-Tervant the free kick. Morgan Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Team Xtra personell got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Blom. Ludwig Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartjan Parmentier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niki Van Hoeyvelt to make the kick off. Niki Van Hoeyvelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ludwig Fransson made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Verner Näver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Blom in the 66th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Reinaud De Schutter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludwig Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Van Hoeyvelt in the 70th minute of play. Freddie Löfgren hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ulf Duset hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Nils Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaud De Schutter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Eklund came free, but Reinaud De Schutter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Jimmy Clementsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Xtra personell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Paal-Tervant the free kick. KFC Paal-Tervant's Roben Bauweleers couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Team Xtra personell. Team Xtra personell's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
