Godofredo Mac Intyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Zeciu in the 14th minute of play. Aaron Zamorano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Boguslaw Marut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes CRUZ DEL SUR got a freekick which was hit by Podador Arraño. If Călin Zeciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godofredo Mac Intyre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Călin Zeciu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Carlos Alberto Kowalesko got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Juan Manuel Vlahovic. Godofredo Mac Intyre came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wypyszek's Călin Zeciu. But to his dismay, Călin Zeciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Bixente Lizarazu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wypyszek's protests and gave Bixente Lizarazu a yellow card for diving instead. Bixente Lizarazu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When FC Wypyszek's Călin Zeciu in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Călin Zeciu to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Călin Zeciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Mac Intyre was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Zeciu came free, but Godofredo Mac Intyre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Wypyszek's Călin Zeciu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godofredo Mac Intyre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Călin Zeciu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Aaron Zamorano fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRUZ DEL SUR's protests and gave Aaron Zamorano a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes CRUZ DEL SUR got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Zamorano.
