Xulián Artaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaud De Schutter having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Juan Manuel Vlahovic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Reinaud De Schutter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan Manuel Vlahovic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaud De Schutter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Reuters came free, but Godofredo Mac Intyre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bram Van Wontergem kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Reinaud De Schutter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Zamorano in the 27th minute of play. Jerry Verbeeck hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Roben Bauweleers hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Aaron Zamorano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Louis Reuters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Mac Intyre was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half CRUZ DEL SUR were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Ignacio Berguecio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godofredo Mac Intyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartjan Parmentier in the 52nd minute of play. Louis Reuters's late challenge caught a CRUZ DEL SUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Reuters helped the player get up and apologised. Louis Reuters kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Roben Bauweleers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Godofredo Mac Intyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaud De Schutter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Zamorano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jerry Verbeeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Mac Intyre having to interfere. Godofredo Mac Intyre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartjan Parmentier, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Roben Bauweleers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Zamorano in the 74th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Reinaud De Schutter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CRUZ DEL SUR's Aaron Zamorano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roben Bauweleers in the 84th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Godofredo Mac Intyre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CRUZ DEL SUR's zone, Roben Bauweleers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Mac Intyre came out of the goal and Roben Bauweleers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Louis Reuters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godofredo Mac Intyre. CRUZ DEL SUR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louis Reuters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a little luck, KFC Paal-Tervant's Reinaud De Schutter got control of the ball when José Ignacio Berguecio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roben Bauweleers to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
