Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Sydney FC's Jakov Stähr started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurino Vila kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Per Schäfer. In the 7th minute Per Schäfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but León Gala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Llull de Reus's León Gala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Real Llull de Reus from getting a goal against them. After 9 played minutes Real Llull de Reus got a freekick which was hit by Hurko Mudarra. León Gala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakov Stähr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. León Gala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thorben Rittmann went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. León Gala made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jakov Stähr sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Sydney FC's Erich Egger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind León Gala. León Gala yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Nesor Maestro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Per Schäfer. Real Llull de Reus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Jakov Stähr scored to the left of an out of position León Gala, making the score, 3-0. León Gala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakov Stähr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Sydney FC were awarded a corner. Kai Petermann went to the cornerflag to take it. Sydney FC's Kai Petermann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but León Gala in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Raul Antón came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Real Llull de Reus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Antón couldn't finish the play. In the 39th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adnan Tilner to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Per Schäfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but León Gala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Zabalo's late challenge caught a Sydney FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Zabalo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sydney FC booed when Real Llull de Reus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Zabalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Antón was the one to do the kick off. If Jakov Stähr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. León Gala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorben Rittmann in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Real Llull de Reus's goal looked a bit too open when Jakov Stähr came free, but León Gala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney FC's Nat Schmitt collided with an opponent after 58 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. When Raul Antón fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Llull de Reus's protests and gave Raul Antón a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Real Llull de Reus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Antón to maneuver through the defense. León Gala came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Sydney FC's Jakov Stähr. But to his dismay, Jakov Stähr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jakov Stähr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without León Gala having to interfere. León Gala came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sydney FC's Jakov Stähr. But to his dismay, Jakov Stähr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jakov Stähr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Llull de Reus's León Gala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakov Stähr in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Real Llull de Reus booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Tilner didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Hurko Mudarra in the 82nd minute really tested Rasmus Gölz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Thorben Rittmann notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Real Llull de Reus's León Gala. León Gala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. León Gala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakov Stähr, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Raul Antón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sydney FC fully deserved thier win.
