The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laércio Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 鲁朋响's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Psiu!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmondo Palomba was slow to take the kick. During this time Montechiarugolo AFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Lepori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mané Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Sydney Gonçalves hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 鲁朋响 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniele Cammarota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute 鲁朋响 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sydney Gonçalves got free with Fortunato Lepori in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Montechiarugolo AFC's Fortunato Lepori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Montechiarugolo AFC from getting a goal against them. Fortunato Lepori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Mané Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Psiu!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mané Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Psiu!'s Mané Castro in 39 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fortunato Lepori guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Fortunato Lepori stood somewhat misplaced when Mané Castro came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 39 minute. When Anthony Miccio fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montechiarugolo AFC's protests and gave Anthony Miccio a yellow card for diving instead. Psiu!'s Afonso Leite was substituted for Raúl Nascimento. After 43 played minutes Montechiarugolo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Miccio. A collision led to Psiu! getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sydney Gonçalves hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 鲁朋响 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Psiu!'s Maicon Sousa got a free kick in the 55th minute. Laércio Sá acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Attilio Bardella. After a rather tough play, Psiu!'s Mané Castro got a free kick in the 56th minute. When 鲁朋响 came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Montechiarugolo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 鲁朋响 couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Sydney Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psiu!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Lepori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 69 in the game by 鲁朋响 from a close distance when the talented Laércio Sá managed to make a qualified save. Psiu!'s players were relieved. In the 70th minute, Kléberson Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's Edmondo Palomba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fortunato Lepori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 鲁朋响 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Laércio Sá when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Laércio Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 鲁朋响's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Sydney Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Lepori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sydney Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, 曲明强 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 鲁朋响's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Laércio Sá skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Psiu!'s Mané Castro got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute of the match Edmondo Palomba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laércio Sá skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mané Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psiu!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Lepori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Psiu! were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Montechiarugolo AFC for a fine match.
