After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Wieslaw Maziarski got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute Urbano Alzola suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wieslaw Maziarski during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Wieslaw Maziarski hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, KS LEW Chorzów's Laércio Sá threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mikolaj Budzynski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute, KS LEW Chorzów's Mikolaj Budzynski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Laércio Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Budzynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laércio Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Budzynski in the 21st minute of play. Mikolaj Budzynskis short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Laércio Sá to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Linares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psiu!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS LEW Chorzów the free kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Wieslaw Maziarski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wieslaw Maziarski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wieslaw Maziarski took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cafu Berger made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KS LEW Chorzów's Raimundo Porfiro. Psiu!'s Laércio Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Budzynski in the 35th minute of play. Laércio Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Budzynski in the 38th minute of play. If Mikolaj Budzynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, KS LEW Chorzów's Mikolaj Budzynski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Wieslaw Maziarski took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
In the 52nd minute, Wieslaw Maziarski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save KS LEW Chorzów from getting a goal against them. If Wieslaw Maziarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mané Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mané Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Psiu! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Castro to maneuver through the defense. Wieslaw Maziarski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laércio Sá. Psiu!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wieslaw Maziarski scored 6-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wieslaw Maziarski in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laércio Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Wieslaw Maziarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters rose to their feet, but Wieslaw Maziarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Maziarski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Laércio Sá was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the game, Serginho de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psiu!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS LEW Chorzów the free kick. Serginho de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Wieslaw Maziarski struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Laércio Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS LEW Chorzów. In the 89th minute Wieslaw Maziarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Budzynski came free, but Laércio Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikolaj Budzynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Laércio Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Psiu! players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KS LEW Chorzów.
