The Best Ones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 鲁朋响 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Matias Elazar's late challenge caught a The Best Ones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Elazar helped the player get up and apologised. Matias Elazar hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Antônio da Cunha struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Fortunato Lepori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Best Ones. In the 13th minute Daniele Cammarota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Antônio da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Best Ones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montechiarugolo AFC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Beppe Rosati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wellington Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 19th minute, 鲁朋响 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montechiarugolo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Best Ones's Wellington Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 鲁朋响 in the 23rd minute of play. Fortunato Lepori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attilio Bardella went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Wellington Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 鲁朋响, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Wellington Xavier came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Montechiarugolo AFC's 鲁朋响. But to his dismay, 鲁朋响 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 36 minutes of play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Attilio Bardella made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Bardella in the 39th minute of play forced The Best Ones's goalkeeper Wellington Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Best Ones were furious when Dráusio Machado was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when The Best Ones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Best Ones's zone, Edmondo Palomba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Xavier came out of the goal and Edmondo Palomba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montechiarugolo AFC's Fortunato Lepori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Sousa in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 鲁朋响 made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 鲁朋响 in the 51st minute of play forced The Best Ones's goalkeeper Wellington Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, The Best Ones's goal looked a bit too open when 鲁朋响 came free, but Wellington Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, The Best Ones's Wellington Xavier got control of the ball when Attilio Bardella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Montechiarugolo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
