Cristóvão de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Laércio Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Best Ones. Wellington Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Castro in the 6th minute. Psiu!'s Laércio Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Sousa in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristóvão de Sousa in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laércio Sá saved Psiu! from getting behind. Mané Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Xavier having to interfere. Laércio Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Maia in the 21st minute of play. Wellington Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Psiu!'s Sydney Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wellington Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cristóvão de Sousa took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Psiu!'s Sydney Gonçalves got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão de Sousa came free, but Laércio Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sydney Gonçalves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wellington Xavier. That made the score 3-2 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Gonçalves to make the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Psiu!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sílvio Luiz Koehler was slow to take the kick. During this time The Best Ones's players had a chance to rest. Laércio Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Leopoldo Linares hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Mané Castro. Cristóvão de Sousa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Antônio da Cunha came free, but Laércio Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Sydney Gonçalves notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of The Best Ones's Wellington Xavier. Wellington Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Sydney Gonçalves made a precise shot to the right of Wellington Xavier. The Best Ones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. When Sílvio Luiz Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Best Ones's protests and gave Sílvio Luiz Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, The Best Ones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão de Sousa had several of the Psiu!'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-3 score and a disappointed Laércio Sá as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to The Best Ones getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Koehler hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 曲明强 during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 曲明强 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wellington Xavier having to make a save. After having played for 93 minutes, Luisinho Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Best Ones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Cristóvão de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
