In the 6th minute Marek Janáček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Jansens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Viktor Pitoňák made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Jansens was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Laporte in the 12th minute of play forced V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's goalkeeper Peter Závadský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Vliegplein's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthew Lijsens in the 13th minute. KFC Vliegplein's Matthew Lijsens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter Závadský in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute Viktor Pitoňák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Jansens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Marek Janáček tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mark Jansens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peter Závadský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Ferdinand Weijnants who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Peter Závadský was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mark Jansens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Chvalný, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Podlubný got free with Mark Jansens in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to V.K.DRINK Hermanovce getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dávid Goliáš hit a great ball. V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Peter Závadský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Weijnants in the 29th minute of play. Mark Jansens made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Viktor Pitoňák sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Ferdinand Weijnants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Závadský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddy Laporte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Podlubný could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mark Jansens made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Marek Janáček reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mark Jansens. The goal made the score 2-0. If Richard Podlubný had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Weijnants to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Eddy Laporte took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Peter Závadský to make any attempt to save it. V.K.DRINK Hermanovce walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
