Ivan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesly Leenpoels in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Dahlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mark Jansens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Laporte, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Dahlberg in the 20th minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Mark Jansens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Magnus Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Jansens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes KFC Vliegplein's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dan Ödman who took care of the corner kick. FC Blueskatterna's Karl-Johan Dahlberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mark Jansens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ted Nässén hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Weijnants in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Rolandsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FC Blueskatterna booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesly Leenpoels didn't get a good kick on the ball. KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Sandell in the 40th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, FC Blueskatterna's Magnus Sandell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Jansens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

The wind increased when Ferdinand Weijnants made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Ivan Rolandsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Dimitri Fouquet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Vliegplein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Blueskatterna the free kick. Dimitri Fouquet kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Gregoire Claeys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Weijnants in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Rolandsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gregoire Claeys hit a great ball. Ted Nässén who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Mark Jansens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens got control of the ball when Ted Nässén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesly Leenpoels in the 79th minute of the match. Hans Westerstrand hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Eddy Laporte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Jansens made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Magnus Sandell sent off a good shot on target. Mark Jansens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Nässén in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Jonathan Bohlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Weijnants in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Rolandsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Weijnants's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Rolandsson was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Dan Ödman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Jansens. KFC Vliegplein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Ödman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. FC Blueskatterna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
