An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Casals in the 12th minute of play forced Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalkeeper Alfredo Manso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiburcio Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Marega in the 15th minute of play. When Alcino França fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Alfredo Manso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Casals, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Karl Hultstrand hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcino França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when Sabadim Harammes PRD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Marega didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Patora.

Leonel Brochado struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tiburcio Jakue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabadim Harammes PRD. Raul Loramendi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
