An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Neruda in the 10th minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Armando Unax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Unax stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Neruda's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Habil Ita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Lautaro L.P.'s Habil Ita to fire away a dangerous shot which Armando Unax despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Mauricio Amato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Emilianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lois Trucios hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lautaro L.P. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eric Montenegro hit a great ball. Pablo Neruda succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After some careless play in the Los Hijos de Doña Beija defense, Pablo Neruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Unax. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Unax should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Neruda came free, but Armando Unax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Unax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Aceituno, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Neruda to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Vinos La Rocca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Unax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Neruda in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Mauricio Amato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Emilianu. Lautaro L.P.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Amato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Armando Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinos La Rocca in the 60th minute of play. Eric Montenegro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Armando Unax made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Pablo Neruda sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Emilianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bernat in the 70th minute of play. Pablo Neruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Armando Unax made a huge save. Armando Unax didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. In the 76th minute Nestor Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Emilianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Armando Unax got control of the ball when Amado Aceituno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Lautaro L.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Hulberto came free, but Jesus Emilianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Neruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Armando Unax made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Alonzo Maiorga got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Lautaro L.P.'s Habil Ita tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lautaro L.P. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
