In the 23rd minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Peng Xu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Mons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tiburcio Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Olofsson in the 30th minute of the match. Leif Olofsson took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Jakue. Tiburcio Jakue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ruben Smidts kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Veth Crystals! Tiburcio Jakue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Olofsson went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwidon Patora in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Pihl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the game, Ruben Smidts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Mons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veth Crystals the free kick. Ruben Smidts hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gwidon Patora scored 3-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Pihl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Liu Zhi Guang made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Raul Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Zhi Guang in the 57th minute of the match. When Veth Crystals's Raul Loramendi in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Mons's goalie prevented a goal. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Ludomir Radzyminski replaced Nedas Jameikis. Veth Crystals's Florian Ciempa was substituted for Zbigniew Wierzbicki. After 71 minutes, Cornel Ulici mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Mons and the Veth Crystals players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when SK Mons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Ulici didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Veth Crystals's Liu Zhi Guang made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Pihl was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute of the match, Liu Zhi Guang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Pihl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 76 minutes, Peng Xu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Mons and the Veth Crystals players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peng Xu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Liu Zhi Guang took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Pihl. Gwidon Patora succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-5. Liu Zhi Guang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Alex Pihl made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maksymilian Kasprzak during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maksymilian Kasprzak hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Deman in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Liu Zhi Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Veth Crystals could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SK Mons throughout the match.
