Gwidon Patora was slow to take the kick. During this time Veth Crystals's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora to fire away a dangerous shot which Trenton Call despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Black Knights FC's Trenton Call played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Patora in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Gwidon Patora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trenton Call was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymundo Kirkland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Zhi Guang came free, but Trenton Call reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Veth Crystals's zone, Barry Drummond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Jakue came out of the goal and Barry Drummond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo Kirkland in the 30th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Veth Crystals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. George Cao Xiao was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Knights FC's players had a chance to rest. Marian Domeradzki charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Domeradzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Marian Domeradzki. If Liu Zhi Guang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Ferguson in the 43rd minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Ferguson in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Jakue saved Veth Crystals from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Ciempa in the 59th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Trenton Call to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Liu Zhi Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trenton Call saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trenton Call took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Ciempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Cao Xiao kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's George Cao Xiao got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Karl Hultstrand. Tiburcio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Ferguson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Hultstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Trenton Call successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gwidon Patora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Trenton Call made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Barry Drummond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veth Crystals were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
