Tzanko Papukchiev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cup2's goalkeeper Levent Trasiev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Sabadim Harammes PRD booed when Cup2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzanko Papukchiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Marega made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Leandro Marega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Trasiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimcho Belishki struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alfredo Manso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cup2. Cup2's Levent Trasiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcino França in the 67th minute of play. Levent Trasiev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alcino França went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, Alípio Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Levent Trasiev. Cup2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alípio Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some careless play in the Cup2 defense, Leandro Marega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Levent Trasiev. The Cup2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Levent Trasiev should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sabadim Harammes PRD fully deserved thier win.
