General Velásquez's Apolo Irigoyen got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armas Heinola. Rolf Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sondre Kråkenes in the 16th minute of play. Cheeky Nuts United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armas Heinola in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 23rd minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Isak Tøllefsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Cheeky Nuts United got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Lundberg. Isak Tøllefsen came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by General Velásquez's Guntademaro Goyenechea. But to his dismay, Guntademaro Goyenechea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stian Systad hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Teofan Bozadzhiyski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isak Tøllefsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Guntademaro Goyenechea came free, but Isak Tøllefsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guntademaro Goyenechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isak Tøllefsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52ndth minute of the game Guntademaro Goyenechea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Isak Tøllefsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isak Tøllefsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armas Heinola in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Armas Heinola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheeky Nuts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Cheeky Nuts United's Martin Minge got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Teofan Bozadzhiyski managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Velásquez's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofan Bozadzhiyski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isak Tøllefsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guntademaro Goyenechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Isak Tøllefsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. General Velásquez made a substitution. Jorge Vicente Squella replaced Apolo Irigoyen. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Guntademaro Goyenechea sped through Cheeky Nuts United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isak Tøllefsen. After having played for 70 minutes, Jorge Vicente Squella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Velásquez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Vicente Squella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Guntademaro Goyenechea came free, but Isak Tøllefsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armas Heinola in the 84th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The General Velásquez players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
