Martin Švácha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Floresta Manda's Filomeno Rioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 7th minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Apolo Irigoyen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Floresta Manda's Filomeno Rioja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 minutes, Martin Gilabert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Floresta Manda and the General Velásquez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute Apolo Irigoyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match General Velásquez got a corner. Club Floresta Manda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofan Bozadzhiyski ran over to the corner to take the kick. General Velásquez's Teofan Bozadzhiyski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filomeno Rioja in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute Apolo Irigoyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Irigoyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Filomeno Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Peru hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Apolo Irigoyen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Floresta Manda's Filomeno Rioja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 40th minute of play forced Club Floresta Manda's goalkeeper Filomeno Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Club Floresta Manda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Irigoyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Filomeno Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Telesforo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Diego Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Apolo Irigoyen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Irigoyen was the one to do the kick off. Filomeno Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Irigoyen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's Apolo Irigoyen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filomeno Rioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Floresta Manda's Diego Telesforo got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 67 minutes, Felix Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Floresta Manda and the General Velásquez players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Floresta Manda getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Felix Gaitano hit a great ball. If Jorge Vicente Squella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Johny De Raeijmaecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Gaitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolf Holmgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Anselmo Johans got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Švácha in the 81st minute of play forced Club Floresta Manda's goalkeeper Filomeno Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cetino in the 83rd minute of play. Rolf Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Peru in the 86th minute of play. Filomeno Rioja was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Martin Švácha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Švácha really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Club Floresta Manda's Filomeno Rioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Floresta Manda's Daniel Cetino got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With an all-out effort, General Velásquez's Filomeno Rioja threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Apolo Irigoyen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Club Floresta Manda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. General Velásquez were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
