With a little luck, Yala's Octavio Ferrer got control of the ball when Lukasz Fafinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteve Abechuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Beltrán Lucas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Acabay in the 55th minute of play forced Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Fabio Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yavuz Acabays short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Fabio Herauso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59thth minute of the game Yavuz Acabay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteve Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fabio Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Rius came free, but Octavio Ferrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
