Spectators: 7830 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Julius van Zijl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Švácha. With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Julius van Zijl got control of the ball when Jorge Vicente Squella tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Martin Švácha. Rolf Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael de Groot in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert Arend van Zijl in the 19th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ted Mook hit a great ball. After 34 minutes, Alfred Blaauwgeers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bal op het Dak and the General Velásquez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute of the match Teofan Bozadzhiyski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julius van Zijl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julius van Zijl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 40th minute of play. Julius van Zijl made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jorge Vicente Squella sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Martien Degenkamp made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Holmgren. General Velásquez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Apolo Irigoyen made the kick off in the second half. Martin Švácha kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. FC Bal op het Dak's Arjan Breugel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rolf Holmgren but with some difficulty. Rafael de Groot hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Teofan Bozadzhiyski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julius van Zijl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Vicente Squella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Julius van Zijl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julius van Zijl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julius van Zijl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 74th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Julius van Zijl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius van Zijl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 74th minute of play. Rafael de Groot hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jorge Vicente Squella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julius van Zijl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Martien Degenkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Apolo Irigoyen came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the General Velásquez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Irigoyen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Apolo Irigoyen hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Klaas Jan Lammers came free, but Rolf Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urtsín Aceiton kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Martien Degenkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolf Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Chants of FC Bal op het Dak echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as General Velásquez had held the ball for most of the match.
