In the 10th minute Zhang Cheng Ping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Geppert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Bensch charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Bensch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Hannover Reds got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Bensch. Hermann Zach hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Till Geppert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Alderete in the 12th minute of the match. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Peñarol FIFV from getting a goal against them. Richard Breukelmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Mazurkiewicz having to interfere. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Breukelmann in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Ladislao Mazurkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paavo Burgdorf. Till Geppert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhang Cheng Ping to maneuver through the defense. Luo Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tristan Alderete made the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Tristan Alderete managed to work through Hannover Reds's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tristan Alderete dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Till Geppert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhang Cheng Ping in the 61st minute of the match. Hannover Reds's Till Geppert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Hannover Reds from getting a goal against them. Till Geppert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhang Cheng Ping in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhang Cheng Ping in the 71st minute of play forced Hannover Reds's goalkeeper Till Geppert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhang Cheng Ping got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st minute of the match Hermann Zach sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladislao Mazurkiewicz skillfully saved the ball. Hannover Reds's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
