Antony De Avila struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Fernandão Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Ibiza. Fernandão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony De Avila in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Castanheiro SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ixona Tabernilla was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Ibiza's players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Antony De Avila came free, but Fernandão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Martins to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Trancoso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Antony De Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Rezende came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucho Bustamante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandão Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucho Bustamante in the 39th minute of the match. When Club Ibiza's Antony De Avila in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castanheiro SC's goalie prevented a goal. When Antony De Avila came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Club Ibiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony De Avila couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Mandrak. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antony De Avila made the kick off in the second half. Castanheiro SC's Fernandão Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. Fernandão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony De Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ixona Tabernilla charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ixona Tabernilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ixona Tabernilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Santxol Suazo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Célio Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Antony De Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Leão came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Jeferson Mandrak. But to his dismay, Jeferson Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony De Avila in the 83rd minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Fernandão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Jeferson Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Leão having to interfere. After 93 minutes, José Maria Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the Club Ibiza players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, José Maria Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonardo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Ibiza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castanheiro SC.
