Jarbas Dantas started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, SAPI FC's Anak Habib got control of the ball when Jarbas Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Bawang Merah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegaso's Pastor Mino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pastor Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bawang Merah in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pegaso defense, Bawang Merah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Mino. The Pegaso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Mino should have stopped the shot. Pastor Mino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bawang Merah's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Dantas in the 23rd minute of play forced SAPI FC's goalkeeper Anak Habib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jan Gotfryd came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SAPI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Gotfryd couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, SAPI FC's Bawang Merah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Mino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes Pegaso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhou Cheng Chen who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SAPI FC's corner Zhou Cheng Chen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pastor Mino quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Tibalt during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pastor Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bawang Merah in the 40th minute of the match. Arnoldo Tibalt was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bawang Merah made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Bawang Merah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pegaso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bawang Merah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 84th minute, Zhou Cheng Chen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anak Habib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bawang Merah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Mino having to interfere. Pastor Mino was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Bawang Merah capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bawang Merah really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. SAPI FC played a much better game than Pegaso and deserved their victory. The Pegaso players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
