The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rutger Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Fabio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Betinho Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA DEL MONO's supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Turina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Turina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, LA DEL MONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Bela to maneuver through the defense. Gaafar Jesus in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Betadur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gaafar Jesus put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Örebro FF the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Turina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Ralondo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Örebro FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lemi Çağa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gaafar Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute Gaafar Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaafar Jesus took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Betadur. Fabio Betadur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gaafar Jesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Betadur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaafar Jesus ran back to his position shaking his head. Betinho Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ivan Turina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Betinho Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Jonatan Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Truylos lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LA DEL MONO! LA DEL MONO:s Fabio Betadur showed great skill when he stopped Rutger Magnusson:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaafar Jesus in the 96th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the LA DEL MONO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Örebro FF.
