In the 5th minute Abel Avetisyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arno Martirosyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigor Grigoryan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tigran Balayan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Paskal in the 19th minute of play. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigor Grigoryan in the 20th minute of play. After 24 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Umea. Khachatryan's Abel Avetisyan got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Arno Martirosyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khachatryan's supporters rose to their feet, but Arno Martirosyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Betadur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Avetisyan to maneuver through the defense. Tigran Balayan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, LA DEL MONO's Betinho Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tigran Balayan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Grigor Grigoryan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigor Grigoryan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Avetisyan in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Arno Martirosyan.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Paskal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, LA DEL MONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Arango to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Edelmiro Paskal made a precise shot to the right of Tigran Balayan. Khachatryan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fabio Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigor Grigoryan in the 64th minute. In the 68th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugon Smolarek to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Paskal struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Tigran Balayan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA DEL MONO. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Grigor Grigoryan sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the LA DEL MONO defense, Kurtis Wooten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Betadur. The LA DEL MONO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Betadur should have stopped the shot. Grigor Grigoryan succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Fabio Betadur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Raţiu went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The LA DEL MONO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Khachatryan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
