Pavel Nedvěd made a great header on AC Pitt Bier's corner, it was just that Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças managed to reach the ball for a save. David Lousada kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martien Stühling came free, but Hamilton Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Pitt Bier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hieronim Literski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Jairo Anjos got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ege Vecih made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gastão Cesário in the 28th minute. Hamilton Poças came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Pitt Bier's Albert Heebels. But to his dismay, Albert Heebels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 39 minutes, Hieronim Literski made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Hieronim Literski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamilton Poças. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hieronim Literski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hieronim Literski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Morais to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Literski in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamilton Poças saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. Hamilton Poças didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hieronim Literski went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Hieronim Literski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hamilton Poças. The goal made the score 0-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Valadão during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hieronim Literskis short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Hamilton Poças to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, AC Pitt Bier's Pavel Nedvěd got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Hieronim Literski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Hieronim Literski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, AC Pitt Bier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joost Crans to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when AC Pitt Bier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joost Crans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AC Pitt Bier eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
