In the 35th minute Rutger Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Brian McKinney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Rutger Magnusson made a precise shot to the right of Tigran Balayan. Khachatryan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rutger Magnusson made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Örebro FF's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Avetisyan came free, but Ivan Turina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Délio Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Kurtis Wooten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Turina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Khachatryan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Örebro FF for a fine match.
