Rutger Magnusson started the match with the kick off. Tiago Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Correia. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lemi Çağa in the 6th minute of the match. If Gaafar Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Chiose in the 13th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaafar Jesus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Paulo Romero. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor de Salles in the 22nd minute of play forced Örebro FF's goalkeeper Ivan Turina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Paulo Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rutger Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 26th play minutes Gaafar Jesus shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Luís Paulo Romero and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Örebro FF's Geovani Dracena got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Thiago de Mendonça sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Turina skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute Örebro FF were awarded a corner. Gaafar Jesus went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Örebro FF's Wieslaw Lagiewniki to fire away a dangerous shot which Luís Paulo Romero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gaafar Jesus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Luís Paulo Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gaafar Jesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Luís Paulo Romero made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Rutger Magnusson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Xacintu to make the kick off. Luís Paulo Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaafar Jesus's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Rodolfo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59thth minute of the game Gaafar Jesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rutger Magnusson in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Paulo Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Paulo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Gaafar Jesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Luís Paulo Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Victor de Salles. Zé Pedro Montenegro's late challenge caught a Örebro FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Magnusson in the 85th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
