With a little luck, Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero got control of the ball when Pavel Nedvěd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hieronim Literski had several of the Flying Dutch's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Luís Paulo Romero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luís Paulo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Literski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flying Dutch's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavel Nedvěd was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Pitt Bier's players had a chance to rest. Joost Crans hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Mattos to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, AC Pitt Bier's Luís Paulo Romero threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martien Stühling, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Nedvěd in the 37th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferry Temen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes AC Pitt Bier got a freekick which was hit by Albert Heebels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Xacintu in the 43rd minute of play forced AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Ege Vecih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Hieronim Literski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Paulo Romero. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, AC Pitt Bier's Wouter Spiering got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Xacintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, AC Pitt Bier's Pavel Nedvěd tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Heebels in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flying Dutch's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavel Nedvěd was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Pitt Bier's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AC Pitt Bier's corner Pavel Nedvěd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Paulo Romero quite easily take care of the ball. Luís Paulo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Nedvěd, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Santos got free with Ege Vecih in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pavel Nedvěd hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Heebels in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Literski came free, but Luís Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Hieronim Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to AC Pitt Bier's Albert Heebels getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 75 played minutes AC Pitt Bier got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Nedvěd. The supporters of AC Pitt Bier booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Literski in the 80th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Albert Heebels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Paulo Romero. Flying Dutch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Heebels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 86th minute Pavel Nedvěd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Niceto Xacintu hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Albert Heebels sped through Flying Dutch's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Paulo Romero. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AC Pitt Bier had won after a very even match.
