Dimas Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juvenal Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Dimas Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. defense, Gaafar Jesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimas Palmeira. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimas Palmeira should have stopped the shot. Rutger Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dimas Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimas Palmeira came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Örebro FF's Rutger Magnusson. But to his dismay, Rutger Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Rutger Magnusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimas Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Dimas Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Rutger Magnusson made a precise shot to the right of Dimas Palmeira. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Dimas Palmeira came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus. But to his dismay, Gaafar Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.! In the 41st minute, Rutger Magnusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Örebro FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Rutger Magnusson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Rutger Magnusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimas Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rutger Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dimas Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaafar Jesus went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the game, Veríssimo Castilho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Örebro FF the free kick. Gaafar Jesus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimas Palmeira. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivan Turina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Valadão in the 57th minute of play. Dimas Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Magnusson in the 59th minute of play. Rutger Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dimas Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimas Palmeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rutger Magnusson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 68 minute of play. Rutger Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Örebro FF's Rutger Magnusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimas Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. 88 minutes into the game, Gastão Cesário cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-13. Ivan Turina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-14. Rutger Magnusson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Örebro FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 95th minute, Gaafar Jesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 97 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Pegado. 99 minutes into the game, Rutger Magnusson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimas Palmeira. Rutger Magnusson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-15. Örebro FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
