Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkis Athanasiou in the 2nd minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Dimas Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kolopetinitsa's Spyros Papazoglou couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Kolopetinitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakis Touronis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Manuel Valadão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stergios Samartzis skillfully saved the ball. In the 11th minute, Diogenis Kastras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimas Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Meireles to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Stergios Samartzis managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Mourão in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stergios Samartzis saved Kolopetinitsa from getting behind. If Manuel Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diogenis Kastras took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimas Palmeira. Dimas Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dimas Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysis Papageorgopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Dionysis Papageorgopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Dimas Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Spyros Papazoglou got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimas Palmeira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 39 minutes, Dionysis Papageorgopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolopetinitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionysis Papageorgopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Silvano Meireles got a free kick in the 41st minute. Juvenal Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Kolopetinitsa's Dionysis Papageorgopoulos in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionysis Papageorgopoulos made a kick off. With his leg Dimas Palmeira managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Kolopetinitsa's Dionysis Papageorgopoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Gastão Cesário's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stergios Samartzis was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Dimas Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionysis Papageorgopoulos in the 79th minute. In the 89th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Valadão to maneuver through the defense. Dionysis Papageorgopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Dimas Palmeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Valadão struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Stergios Samartzis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.. Dionysis Papageorgopouloss short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Dimas Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silvano Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
