Alan Voller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pau Doku went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldwin 舒 got free with Piotr Noworolnik in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarrett Maddern's late challenge caught a Odważni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ben West was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pau Doku in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Voller saved Elderslie Magpies from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pau Doku in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Voller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrett Maddern to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pau Doku in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Voller saved Elderslie Magpies from getting behind. After 35 minutes Elderslie Magpies's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jurand Pyrtek who took care of the corner kick. Odważni's Jurand Pyrtek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alan Voller in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute Baldwin 舒 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Noworolnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldwin 舒 got free with Piotr Noworolnik in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Roberto-Carlos Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Noworolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atila Punta in the 41st minute of play. Ben West struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Alan Voller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odważni. When Pau Doku came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Odważni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pau Doku couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Pau Doku made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Pau Doku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Voller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Pere Villanueva got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Pau Doku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odważni's supporters rose to their feet, but Pau Doku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Voller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Doku came free, but Alan Voller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witomir Sliwinski hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Alan Voller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben West, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Gorham. Elderslie Magpies's Alan Voller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pau Doku in the 66th minute of play. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Pau Doku sped through Elderslie Magpies's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alan Voller. Ralph Gorham was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Ralph Gorham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Odważni's Jurand Pyrtek got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Arnold Hemmen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alan Voller was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 93 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Ben West came free, but Alan Voller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
