In the 2nd minute, Claudio Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ari Strömberg had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gez Little from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gez Little in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ari Strömberg saved Real Kuskatan C.F. from getting behind. The supporters of Real Kuskatan C.F. booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolau Madruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frans Escajadillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nial Botham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nial Botham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Czubski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Escajadillo in the 16th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Nial Botham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Escajadillo came free, but Nial Botham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Russ Blacknell got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kain Havertz in the 24th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Ari Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ampthill FC's Zack Alderson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Manuel Fuentes got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Zack Alderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Czubski came free, but Nial Botham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gez Little made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Little in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Ari Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Ari Strömberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Zack Alderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Fuentes was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ari Strömberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Nial Botham threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frans Escajadillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marco Ruben in the 79th minute. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Ari Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gez Little in the 81st minute of play. Ari Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Little in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Zack Alderson got a free kick in the 85th minute. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Ari Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Potts in the 87th minute of play. Ari Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Little in the 88th minute of the match. Mario Serrano's late challenge caught a Ampthill FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Serrano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Mario Serrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kuskatan C.F.'s zone, Jack Potts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ari Strömberg came out of the goal and Jack Potts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Gez Little put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ari Strömberg. 96 minutes into the match, Gez Little had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ari Strömberg. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gez Little was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Kuskatan C.F. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ampthill FC.
