A nice corner shot did that Jorginho Salles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Constantino Modestio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With 15 minutes on the clock, Mané Souza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edson Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Giovanni Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Remir in the 28th minute of the match. Giovanni Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Ranolfo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Joga Redondo in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Constantino Modestio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Alberto Melo put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Constantino Modestio. Rosendo Benitez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Eztebe to strike the kick off in the second half. Constantino Modestio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Cardoso in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Edson Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Jorginho Salles went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Edson Futebol Clube's corner Jorginho Salles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Constantino Modestio quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Edson Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Joga Redondo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Remir got free with Giovanni Nóbrega in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0 descensos's Constantino Modestio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Cardoso in the 68th minute of play. Edson Futebol Clube made a substitution. José do Valle replaced Rafa Ribeiro. In the 74th minute, Francisco Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Filiberto Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot. 0 descensos's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Remir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 0 descensos's Constantino Modestio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Cardoso in the 80th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Alberto Melo put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Constantino Modestio. 90 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's goal looked a bit too open when Joga Redondo came free, but Constantino Modestio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Joga Redondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 0 descensos's Constantino Modestio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joga Redondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filiberto Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edson Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
