Spectators: 7810 (Terracing: 5859, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Melo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Giovanni Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ampthill FC's Gez Little. But to his dismay, Gez Little quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nial Botham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Godoi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nial Botham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Edson Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei de Brito to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Edson Futebol Clube's zone, Jack Potts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Nóbrega came out of the goal and Jack Potts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giovanni Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gez Little, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nial Botham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei de Brito in the 16th minute of play. When Edson Futebol Clube's Claudinei de Brito in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ampthill FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th minute, Gez Little ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, Edson Futebol Clube's Giovanni Nóbrega got control of the ball when Gez Little tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zack Alderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Giovanni Nóbrega made a huge save. Ampthill FC's Jack Potts got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edson Futebol Clube's Giovanni Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Edson Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After 31 minutes of play, Ampthill FC's Jack Potts made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Edson Futebol Clube's Rafa Ribeiro got a free kick in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gez Little kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giovanni Nóbrega. That made the score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. Rafa Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Edson Futebol Clube's Rafa Ribeiro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Zack Alderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gez Little was the one to do the kick off. Zack Alderson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The Ampthill FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Ampthill FC's Gez Little looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute, Gez Little ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Edson Futebol Clube's zone, Zack Alderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Nóbrega came out of the goal and Zack Alderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Zack Alderson sped through Edson Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovanni Nóbrega. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Blacknell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes, Edson Futebol Clube's José do Valle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nial Botham came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edson Futebol Clube reached it. Orhan Ortanca's late challenge caught a Edson Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orhan Ortanca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Ortanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jack Potts hit a great ball. Giovanni Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gez Little went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when Edson Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Potts came free, but Giovanni Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Jack Potts sped through Edson Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovanni Nóbrega. In the 89th minute, Jack Potts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ampthill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ampthill FC fully deserved thier win.
