After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Celedonio Hernando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espirillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Hernando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izydor Czubski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Nestor Kelemen made a huge save. With a little luck, Espirillo FC's Nestor Kelemen got control of the ball when Izydor Czubski tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorel Amarandei in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ari Strömberg saved Real Kuskatan C.F. from getting behind. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Ari Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Amarandei in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Amarandei in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ari Strömberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Izydor Czubski made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rait Raag got free with Ari Strömberg in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ari Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Diagur in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Diagur came free, but Ari Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Kuskatan C.F. made a substitution. Edmund Hludzenski replaced Claudio Barreto. After a rather tough play, Espirillo FC's Celedonio Hernando got a free kick in the 66th minute. Espirillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frans Escajadillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Espirillo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
