With an all-out effort, Camarón Bombay's Júlio Couto threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Garikoitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25thth minute of the game Jan-Ove Gustavsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camarón Bombay's Raul Pueblo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Buritama Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Félix in the 35th minute of play forced Camarón Bombay's goalkeeper Raul Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
