Jurand Deput started the match with the kick off. Marcos Cavia made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victorio Baro immediately put the ball in play. Jurand Deput recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Maximino Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Victorio Baro fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s protests and gave Victorio Baro a yellow card for diving instead. Jurand Deput might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustau Samano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurand Deput ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jurand Deput managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Chubut's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurand Deput was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustau Samano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Valentin Baristo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RB Chubut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Baristo to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Xandro Zubillaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Txindoki Mejia kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gustau Samano was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Jurand Deput capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jurand Deput really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jurand Deput's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Gustau Samano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save RB Chubut from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Batistuta in the 57th minute of play forced Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s goalkeeper Gustau Samano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xandro Zubillaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Robert Vassenius made a huge save. Robert Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xandro Zubillaga in the 61st minute of play. The throw-in from Olivar Gamero in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RB Chubut's Gabríel Batistuta. In the 81st minute, Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s Carlos Alberto Rios ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robert Vassenius. Robert Vassenius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Isaac Mingo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustau Samano. Gustau Samano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Lenertej didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Rios got free with Robert Vassenius in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Mingo in the 95th minute of play forced Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈'s goalkeeper Gustau Samano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xandro Zubillaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xandro Zubillaga in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Vassenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RB Chubut fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uηiση Aтℓεтιcσ Mαгαcαιвσ✈ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
