Geronimo Rulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Di Gregorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs's Dario Vittorio got a free kick in the 41st minute. Emanuele Guaita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Hori in the 45th minute of play. Emanuele Guaita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Carrillo in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Paglione to make the kick off. In the 68th minute of the match, Fabiano Paglione tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geronimo Rulli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But to his dismay, Abel Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 79 minutes into the match, 【E ➣Soldados De Sabella's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Paglione came free, but Geronimo Rulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Paglione kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geronimo Rulli. That made the score 2-1 in the 82 minute of play. Geronimo Rulli came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Boca Jrs's Dennis Castagna. But to his dismay, Dennis Castagna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Despite being the better team, CA Boca Jrs failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
