After some careless play in the Annedal FC defense, Yancho Dzhongarski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerry Felin. The Annedal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerry Felin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yancho Dzhongarski in the 14th minute of play forced Annedal FC's goalkeeper Jerry Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Yancho Dzhongarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vlado Manchev came free, but Jerry Felin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Varban Netzov in the 22nd minute of play forced Annedal FC's goalkeeper Jerry Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Annedal FC's zone, Dimitar Berbatov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Ubinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Ahlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Niklas Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Annedal FC's protests and gave Niklas Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Annedal FC got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Jonsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calle Gustavsson during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Varban Netzov to strike the kick off in the second half. Anzhelo Karamalkov charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anzhelo Karamalkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes FC CSKA got a freekick which was hit by Anzhelo Karamalkov. The supporters of Annedal FC booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anzhelo Karamalkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes of play, FC CSKA's Varban Netzov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerry Felin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FC CSKA defense, Sven-Arne Grubb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oleg Ubinov. The FC CSKA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oleg Ubinov should have stopped the shot. The Annedal FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC CSKA's performance. The match ended with a win for FC CSKA.
