Pavel Kenov ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the game, Pavel Kenov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thomas Ravelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Milyo Achov in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La vecchia signora's Edvard Enström. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyubomir Vladikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Temida Sf's Pavel Kenov. But to his dismay, Pavel Kenov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyubomir Vladikov in the 30th minute of play forced La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Pavel Kenov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Ravelli. La vecchia signora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Kenov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Temida Sf getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rumen Oblakov hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Dinko Ormandzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andon Túrpomanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Kruuse in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Temida Sf's Lyubomir Vladikov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Ravelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

Thomas Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Lyubomir Vladikov sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of La vecchia signora booed when Temida Sf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Kenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute CJ Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andon Túrpomanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Temida Sf's Iskren Drazhev was substituted for Pavel Kenov. Temida Sf's Totyo Borchev was substituted for Evrosi Darakchiev. La vecchia signora's Han Solo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iskren Drazhev was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Iskren Drazhev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Thomas Ravelli made a huge save. Graham Boss hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Temida Sf's Andon Túrpomanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Solo in the 91st minute of play. Lyubomir Vladikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Thomas Ravelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Temida Sf had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
