Tama's Patricio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Kane in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Tama booed when La vecchia signora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eldad Te Vrede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rigoberto Eleazar in the 14th minute. Tama's Rigoberto Eleazar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomas Ravelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as La vecchia signora's Rafael Aizprua slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patricio Gartxot. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Tama's Rigoberto Eleazar got a free kick in the 19th minute. Tama's Patricio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Kane in the 20th minute of play. Han Solo took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Gartxot. Patricio Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Kane in the 25th minute of play forced Tama's goalkeeper Patricio Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Tama's goalkeeper Patricio Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eldad Te Vrede. 34 minutes into the match, CJ Kane dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patricio Gartxot, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when CJ Kane got free with Patricio Gartxot in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Senen in the 39th minute of play. When Hernan Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Tama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Olayo couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Valentin Senen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Ravelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Leonardo Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Claude to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Han Solo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Enol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Ravelli having to interfere. Thomas Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Leonardo Claude sent off a good shot on target. CJ Kane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Patricio Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Kane, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. A collision led to Tama getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Maximo Bizen hit a great ball. La vecchia signora's Eldad Te Vrede got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute CJ Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La vecchia signora's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
