In the 7th minute Iker Boruc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthimos Tzanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthimos Tzanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Boruc in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match, Dimitris Fragou tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matias Čech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14th minute, Mihăiţă Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Dimitris Fragou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matias Čech. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Dimitris Fragou was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Iker Boruc put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anthimos Tzanis. The crowd rose to their feet as meteora 1929's Güneş Gürçınar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Čech. That made the score 2-1 after 31 minutes of play. 35 minutes into the match, Iker Boruc notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of meteora 1929's Anthimos Tzanis. Anthimos Tzanis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Boruc in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthimos Tzanis saved meteora 1929 from getting behind. In the 45th minute of the match ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a corner. meteora 1929's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Laurin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Iker Boruc got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Fragou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iker Boruc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthimos Tzanis having to interfere. Anthimos Tzanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Boruc in the 54th minute of the match. Savas Touloubakis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Piotr Osikowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave meteora 1929 the free kick. Matias Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogenis Kazatzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
