Paquito Garay's late challenge caught a meteora 1929's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paquito Garay helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán got control of the ball when Dimitris Fragou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diogenis Kazatzis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Álvaro Perpiñán made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galo Campos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogenis Kazatzis in the 21st minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güneş Gürçınar took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Perpiñán. After 28 minutes, Dimitris Fragou made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Fragou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Kazatzis in the 51st minute of play. Argyris Kioutsoukalis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Diogenis Kazatzis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güneş Gürçınar in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Perpiñán saved Sporting Burgas from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Güneş Gürçınar put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güneş Gürçınar in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Güneş Gürçınar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán.
