Duda Soeiro was a little too slow when Jerry Fristedt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Rodrigues in the 19th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Araújo came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olle Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Marinho in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Jerry Fristedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olle Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfons Delin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Duda Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Osmar Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Marouane Kiefer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duda Soeiro was a little too slow when Alfons Delin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. If Alfons Delin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Fristedt to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kenneth Wallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Jerry Fristedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Duda Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Fristedt came free, but Duda Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Delin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Duda Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marouane Kiefer in the 63rd minute of the match. Délio Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Fristedt took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duda Soeiro. Duda Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Olle Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Marinho in the 74th minute of play. Patrick Albom was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Patrick Albom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Osmar Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aesir FC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olle Tunander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerry Fristedt scored 5-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duda Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jefferson Rodrigues in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olle Tunander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Martin Hedlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duda Soeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VfL Wolfsburg's Yin Bing Ming got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Jerry Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when VfL Wolfsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Délio Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Olle Tunander made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VfL Wolfsburg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aesir FC FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
