Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Boruc in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Anaking Skywalker came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Boruc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 27 minutes into the match, Piotr Osikowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. Sporting Burgas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piotr Osikowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 29 minutes, Piotr Osikowicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ and the Sporting Burgas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Piotr Osikowicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Boruc in the 35th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Piotr Osikowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Boruc to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Piotr Osikowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Breckenfeld came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Leobardo Briso with Evarado Gomar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 87th minute, Paquito Garay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Benito Laurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Álvaro Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Boruc, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute, Piotr Osikowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
